The movie "Surrogates" is about human using robots as a form of replacement,something like "don't have to be there to do this" because the "person" is being control by you at home.

The opening scene started out with a rich boy kid whose surrogate was being shot dead by a weapon.This weapon can char the surrogate microchip which in turn kill the person controlling it,so yeah,the person died..

It was quite grossed actually because the eyes of the surrogate was burned out and the actual person had his eyes splattered with blood when he was found dead.Ewww!
